He has already become sport's new sensation due to his performances at the
World Darts Championship, the 16-year-old
Luke Littler is leaving fans with their mouths agape.
Littler beat Raymond van Barneveld 4-1 in the last 16. During that match, Littler's grandfather also made frequent appearances, which drove former world champion
Bob Anderson to social media. On
X he wrote the following: "Luke's younger brother cheering him on at the darts!" Playing on the fact many find Littler to look much older than 16.
Fans found Anderson's post hilarious as the post recieved numerous retweets and replies. For example, one person wrote “He’ll be 17 then,” a second said: “Hahaha I am crying.” While a third added: “Let me guess, he’s 9 years old!” A fourth wrote: “Talk about late entry but we have tweet of the year award nailed.”
Littler will be back in action at the Alexandra Palace on Monday afternoon. 'The Nuke' will take on Brendan Dolan in the quarter-finals, knowing a victory would not only take him to the final four but also propel him into the top-64 in the world.
