Daryl Gurney reaches landmark with victory over Rob Cross at Austrian Darts Open in Graz

Daryl Gurney achieved a milestone with his 6-4 victory over Rob Cross in the second round of the Austrian Darts Open. It proved to be the 100th win on the European Tour for 'Superchin'.

Gurney made his debut on the Euro Tour back in 2013 and has since played 180 matches on the European circuit. Of those, one hundred were won and eighty were lost.

The year 2019 proved to be the most successful for Gurney. That year, he took the title at the German Darts Championship, while Gurney turned 22 of his 34 matches into wins.

Over the years, the Northern Irishman threw a total of 23 100+ averages on the European Tour. He set his personal record at the 2018 European Darts Trophy by recording an average of 107.11 against Michael van Gerwen. That match, incidentally, was lost 6-2.
