Dave Chisnall produces incredible 111 average, set to face Gian van Veen in Players Championship 30 semi-finals

The semi-finals are confirmed at Players Championship 30 with Dave Chisnall set to face rising Dutch ace, Gian van Veen as he looks to reach back-to-back finals.

Chisnall produced an incredible 111 average as he saw off Scott Waites. This proved to be a so close, but yet so far for 'Scotty 2 Hotty' who would've qualified for the World Championship in reaching the final.

Van Veen saw off Cam Crabtree and averaged 100 in the process. In the other half of the draw, Damon Heta will take on Jim Williams. Michael Smith and Danny Noppert are the two players who fell by the wayside.

But it could be the matter of two of the top seeds on the ProTour facing off in the final Players Championship of the season in Heta and Chisnall who will be favourites.
