Michael Smith-Damon Heta and Dave Chisnall-Scott Waites among Quarter-Finals at Players Championship 30

The Quarter-Finals are set at Players Championship 30 with Michael Smith and Dave Chisnall, the two leading lights still involved in the final ProTour of the season.

Chisnall ended the run of Jamie Hughes who got what he wanted anyway in a ticket to Ally Pally. But it was a 105 average for 'Chizzy' as he prevailed 6-4. Next is Scott Waites who thrashed Ross Smith 6-1.

Gian van Veen ended the day of Rob Cross and faces Cam Crabtree who watched as his close friend, Owen Bates sealed a Tour Card he looked on for and he will hope to join him through Q-School. He is certainly showing why he deserves to be there but his day could end to the Dutchman.

While in the landmark tie, Damon Heta will face Michael Smith as Daryl Gurney and Mickey Mansell lost out. While it is the turn of Danny Noppert and Jim Williams who will contest the last Quarter-Final.
