Luke Humphries has continued his barren run in TV majors this season with
Chris Dobey producing a dazzling display of doubling to move into the second round of the

While
Dimitri van den Bergh is through also after seeing off two-time finalist Dave Chisnall who could not continue his superb form as of late into his favorite tournament after a 2-1 win for 'The Dreammaker'.
Van den Bergh hit a 180 and double seven to hold and go 1-0 up and kept his throw to go 2-1 up. Chisnall missed 160 for 2-2 but despite returning, he spurned a chance to send it to a decider and Van den Bergh sealed the opening set.
A 78 checkout after not getting in after five darts saw Chisnall open with a hold. Van den Bergh hit double 10 to level up in the second set.
Chisnall set up double 20 from 124 and pinned it to go one away from levelling up. A third 180 to leave 61 but he missed to seal a deciding set and Van den Bergh held to send it to a decider but a 63 checkout from Chisnall saw him send it all the way.
Van den Bergh hit double 16 to go 2-1 up and Chisnall hit a 61 checkout to send it all the way only for the former to produce a 13-darter when it mattered most to seal it.
