De Decker qualified for the semifinals after a cracker against Brendan Dolan. The Northern Irishman twice took a break lead, but each time De Decker undid the damage. With an 18-darter in the last leg, the Belgian took the win.
Sedlacek was responsible for the elimination of Gabriel Clemens. The Czech took a 5-2 lead with two 13-darters. Clemens then came back to 5-4, before Sedlacek sealed the match with a 60 finish.
Humphries secured his spot in the last four by beating Cameron Menzies 6-3. After a 2-2 tie, Humphries took three legs in a row, including a 10-darter in the sixth leg. Menzies then took one more leg before Humphries decided the match with a 14-darter.
Evans needed a deciding leg to hold off Connor Scutt. Rapid Ricky squandered a 4-1 lead, but eventually struck with a 20-darter in the 11th leg.
A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 15,000 pounds.
