Prize Money breakdown for 2024 Players Championship season with increased prize pool of £3,750,000

The Players Championship season will once again consist of 30 tournaments in 2024. Although the number of tournaments has remained the same, the prize pool has gone up significantly. The PDC has made as much as £3,750,000 in prize money available for the floor tournaments.

At each Players Championship tournament, £125,000 in prize money is distributed, a 25 percent increase from last season. The Pro Tour tournaments are open to all PDC Tour Card holders. In case of cancellations, the best players from the PDC Challenge Tour will be asked to fill in, so that the field of participants remains composed of 128 players.

Starting money is not yet available at the Players Championship tournaments. Players who manage to win their first round will receive 1,000 pounds in prize money. On top of that, 500 pounds is added upon reaching the last 32.

A place in the last sixteen earns £2,500, while the quarter-finalists secure £3,500 in prize money. A semi-final place earns £5,000, before the big money is distributed in the final. The losing finalist gets £10,000, while the winner of a Players Championship tournament takes home £15,000.

Through the floor tournaments, players can force qualification for the major televised tournaments. The Players Championship tournaments count toward the qualification races for the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and World Darts Championship. Moreover, playing Players Championship tournaments is the only way to secure placement for the Players Championship Finals.
