The high standard while not as prevalent was still apparent at times on Day Three of PDC Super Series with Jose de Sousa claiming the honours in terms of averages.
It was 107.4 during ‘The Special One’s opening tie against Andy Boulton and he followed it up with 106.26 later in the day.
Chas Barstow was one of the stars of Day Three and this showed with a high average of 106.84 during a third round win over Andy Hamilton.
Other players to finish in the top five in the standings include Michael Smith (106.70) and Dimitri van den Bergh (105.15).
Jonny Clayton as is usually the way as the eventual winner only hit one average on the list in 103.36 further down.
