Since regaining his lost PDC Tour card at Q-school,
Jeffrey de Zwaan has already shown an improvement in his form so far this year. Now the Dutchman reveals his main target for the year, returning to Alexandra Palace.
De Zwaan has had a lot of injury problems in recent years. "But the shoulder feels particularly good at the moment, I can play again without pain. The first months of the year went well, I managed to win against Gerwyn Price at the UK Open, that has given me a lot of confidence," says De Zwaan to Weekly Darts Cast. "It's very busy at the moment, with a tournament almost every week, but I like that. I enjoy playing again."
De Zwaan reached the semi-finals of the World Matchplay in 2018. "I already have a great career, but of course I want more. I dream of going back to the top 32 in the world rankings and participating in every major."
PDC World Cup
Although 'The Black Cobra' has one big goal this year. "After two years of absence, I want to go back to the PDC World Cup. Missing the World Cup really hurt me, especially that great atmosphere in Alexandra Palace I want to experience again soon."
