Jeffrey de Zwaan is through to the second round at the World Grand Prix after defeating Steve Beaton only dropping one leg in the process.

De Zwaan summed it up afterwards and said that he saw Beaton struggling which is a surprise as it’s always been a tough game in the past.

’The Black Cobra’ also admitted that he likes this format as it’s tough and anything can happen.

"I thought I played really well and I felt good, but Steve didn't play his game," said De Zwaan. "I saw Steve struggling a little bit, but it's always been a tough game against him in the past.

"I can look forward to the next game now because you just want to get through. I like this format but it's also tough and anything can happen."
