The Quarter-Final line-up is close to being completed at the German Darts Championship and it includes the defending champion Daryl Gurney after he saw off Glen Durrant in a 6-4 victory.
Gurney was on fire to begin the tie off claiming two ton-plus checkouts en route to a 3-0 lead including an excellent 100. But Durrant came back into the tie although missed out in the end pivotally as he missed a dart at the bull from a 124 to save the match and Gurney pinned double 20 to claim victory.
Stats wise, he hit six 180's and a 98.7 average as he aims to defend his title at Halle 39 and with many of the top names now out, he has an even bigger chance to do so.

Danny Noppert is also through after seeing off home favourite Max Hopp in a comeback victory. 'Noppie' hasn't claimed a European Tour title but is one of the most consistent players on the tour so could be on his way to a first later.
The Dutchman reeled off four consecutive legs from 4-2 down to see off Hopp 6-4 with a 97 average and four 180's.
