Barry claims back-to-back PDC Development Tour titles with victory over Meikle in Event Nine

Keane Barry has claimed back-to-back PDC Development Tour titles after winning his first event on Saturday night with another final win against Ryan Meikle.

Barry won yesterday in the final against Meikle 5-3 in the final and it was the top four players in the Order of Merit into the semi-finals with Berry van Peer and Damian Mol losing out.

As a result, Ryan Meikle due to his brilliance has claimed his PDC World Championship spot and Barry with victory has all but secured his position at Alexandra Palace as well as becoming a Tour Card holder for the first time.

Berry van Peer is now in position also for a return to the PDC Tour with 'Bionic' ahead of his compatriot Damian Mol who is currently in £3,550 compared to £3,750 so it is an important next event with the conclusion of this year's Development Tour.
