Defending champion Kurz eliminated from PDC Europe Super League, Schindler and Hopp through to semi-finals

Nico Kurz is not going to win the PDC Europe Super League for a third year in a row after the German prospect lost to Dragutin Horvat in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Horvat takes on Florian Hempel in the semi-finals who came from 5-8 down to see off Lukas Wenig 9-8.

The other semi-final is between Martin Schindler and Max Hopp. The former saw off Niko Springer 9-1, while Hopp defeated Christian Bunse 9-4.

The two semifinals and the final are scheduled for Thursday. The winner of this qualifying tournament can participate in the World Darts Championship in December.
