The ten players who will join the field for the
Hungarian Darts Trophy are confirmed who will play between September 20-22 in Budapest. Dirk van Duijvenbode, Gabriel Clemens and Scott Williams lead the ten who will be involved.
As well as that trio, Wessel Nijman continues his incredible form after a great week. He is also set to play in Budapest. He saw off Jim Williams. Also Keane Barry, Lukas Wenig, Leighton Bennett, Darren Beveridge, Martin Lukeman have qualified.
As has Florian Hempel who made history hitting the 500th PDC nine-dart finish earlier today during his qualifier run and has managed to confound that into reaching the 11th
European Tour. Mike de Decker and Cameron Menzies were top two seeds but lost in the penultimate round.
As is known by now, the qualification system is different from last year. This season there are only ten starting spots to be distributed instead of 24. That is because in addition to the top-16 of the Pro Tour rankings, the top-16 of the world rankings are also automatically qualified for the Euro Tours.
32 players are already qualified for the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest (Sept. 20-22). Among others, Michael van Gerwen, Dave Chisnall, Ross Smith, Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock, Rob Cross, Luke Littler, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, James Wade, Dimitri van den Bergh and Nathan Aspinall don't need to qualify.
