The PDC is not going to take the
Ricardo Pietreczko and
Luke Littler confrontation to the Darts Regulation Authority (DRA), Oche180 reports. The
DRA is known as the disciplinary committee in the sport of darts.
Pietreczko showed himself as something of a bad loser on Sunday after his defeat against Littler in the semifinals of the
Belgian Darts Open. 'Pikachu' was angry because of an action by Littler in the sixth leg. 'The Nuke' was leading 3-2 at the time and was on 147 after twelve darts. He tried to throw out this score via treble 19, tops and bullseye, but threw his second dart off the board. Pietreczko came back to 3-3 moments later, but saw the next four legs go to his English opponent.
The German thought Littler's choice to go for tops and bullseye from 90 was disrespectful. ''I have a lot of respect for the fact that you can already be so good at such a young age, but I hope his arrogance will be punished,'' Pietreczko schemed on Instagram afterward.
Littler later commented briefly on Facebook. ''No idea what I did wrong and no idea what he said. He said something and ended with 'don't do something like that again'', the Englishman reflected on the incident.
