Dolan looks ahead to tie against Anderson after defeating Kumar: 'I don't know where his game is but I know where mine is and I think I have an advantage'

Brendan Dolan is through to the second round at the 2020 PDC World Championship after defeating Nitin Kumar and a tie against Gary Anderson awaits.

Dolan said that the difference was that he did the right things at the right times against the Indian Qualifier and he also reflected on his year saying that he has shown again that he can mix it with the best.

He also spoke about facing Anderson and said that despite not a lot being known about his current game, he believes he has an advantage as he knows where his own game is.

"I kept my composure at the right times," said Dolan.

"I've got a lot of belief in my game now - I've got concrete evidence behind me that I'm good enough to win on the tour again and to beat the best.

"I'm looking forward to playing Gary. I don't know where his game is but I know where mine is and after today I think I have an advantage."
