Draw and schedule for New Zealand Darts Masters 2023 announced: Including cracker between Price and Whitlock

The PDC has announced the draw and playing schedule for the New Zealand Darts Masters. This World Series tournament in Hamilton will be played August 4 and 5.

The most interesting of the matches that came out of the ball pit is the meeting between defending champion Gerwyn Price and Simon Whitlock. 'The Wizard' is the biggest name of the eight players who are competing on behalf of the local players at this tournament.

Danny Noppert is the only Dutch participant in New Zealand due to the absence of Michael van Gerwen. 'The Freeze' will take on Ben Robb, one of the better known local players. Dimitri van den Bergh also got no unknown opponent. He will square off with Haupai Puha, who has been a member of the World Series tournaments in 'Down Under' for several years now;

For Peter Wright, a meeting with Jonny Tata awaits, while Rob Cross takes on Warren Parry. Michael Smith meets Darren Penhall, and Damon Heta was paired with Darren Herewini in the draw. The brand new World Matchplay champion Nathan Aspinall plays against Kayden Milne.
