Draw and schedule Flanders Darts Trophy 2024: Including Luke Humphries, Luke Littler & Michael van Gerwen

The draw and schedule for the Flanders Darts Trophy 2024 has been announced by the PDC. Home favourite Dimitri van den Bergh was paired with Andrew Gilding in the draw for the Euro Tour tournament in Antwerp, ensuring that the reigning UK Open champion and the former UK Open champion will face each other.

The draw has produced some more great matches for the first round. Fresh German Darts Championship champion Peter Wright will cross swords with Brendan Dolan, while James Wade will battle Cameron Menzies. Joe Cullen plays against Callan Rydz, and Daryl Gurney faces Ritchie Edhouse.
In addition to Van den Bergh, Mike de Decker is also part of the field of participants. De Decker meets Richard Veenstra in the first round. A total of six Belgians will compete at the Flanders Darts Trophy, as there are also four Host Nation Qualifiers.
Veenstra is one of ten Dutchmen in the Belgian port city. Jermaine Wattimena and Kevin Doets both play a Host Nation Qualifier, while Jitse van der Wal makes his appearance against Sebastian Bialecki. Dirk van Duijvenbode takes on Jonny Clayton, and there is also a Dutch clash between Raymond van Barneveld and Maik Kuivenhoven.
The Flanders Darts Trophy is scheduled from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8 at the Antwerp XPO in Antwerp. The first round will be played on Friday, after which the 16 winners of the first round will take on the top 16 seeded players on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, the third round is scheduled, before the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final are completed on Sunday evening.
