The draw has been confirmed for the European Championship which will take place between October 27-30 in Dortmund after the conclusion of the European Tour.
The 32 best players of the Euro Tour season, which this year consisted of thirteen tournaments, will participate in the European Championship which is what this draw is based on.
Top seed is Luke Humphries who will start against Krzysztof Ratajski who only just got in due to Wesley Plaisier just missing out.
Reigning World Champion, Peter Wright could face Gerwyn Price in the second round with the duo exchanging mind games about the World Number One spot regained by 'Snakebite' but both have to get though Ryan Meikle and Rowby-John Rodriguez respectively.
The last winner of the European Tour, Damon Heta faces Vincent van der Voort with Danny Noppert or Andrew Gilding awaiting. While Michael van Gerwen faces Chris Dobey with Jose de Sousa who he fired back at in Gibraltar regarding his counting potentially awaiting.
Defending champion is Rob Cross who faces James Wade, while in the same section as Humphries includes Ryan Searle - Martin Lukeman and Michael Smith - Karel Sedlacek and Nathan Aspinall - Josh Rock with the winners of the latter two ties facing each other.
