Draw confirmed for 2022 World Cup of Darts: Scotland to begin defence against Hong Kong, England to face Czech Republic

The draw had been confirmed ahead of the 2022 World Cup of Darts which will take place between June 16-19 in Frankfurt with defending champions, Scotland facing Hong Kong.

Set to feature John Henderson who will defend the title with World Champion, Peter Wright facing the duo of Lok Yin Lee and Ho Tung Ching.

While new look England line-up, represented by Michael Smith and James Wade, will go up against Czech Republic's Adam Gawlas and Karel Sedlacek. Wales will look to regain their title with Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton facing Philippines.

Michael van Gerwen is missing from this year's Dutch team. Van Gerwen undergoes arm surgery on Tuesday 14 June, meaning he has to miss this year's World Cup of Darts. Van Duijvenbode (2021) and Noppert (2020) have been Mighty Mike's teammates in recent years and now form a team together for the first time. With a win in the first round, Ireland (William O'Connor and Steve Lennon) or Canada (Matt Campbell and Jeff Smith) await in the last sixteen.
