Draw confirmed for 2022 World Matchplay: Defending champion Wright to face Razma, Van Gerwen-Lewis in Round One

The draw has been completed ahead of the World Matchplay which will take place between July 16-25 at the prestigious Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Peter Wright is the defending champion and current reigning World Number One and World Champion and faces debutant Madars Razma, the first Latvian to play at the World Matchplay.
World Number Two, Gerwyn Price will aim to add an elusive piece of his collection but faces 'The Wall' Martin Schindler in the opening round who will aim to dent his chances.
Michael van Gerwen who decided to not play during the latest Players Championship tournaments and as a result slipped to World Number Three has received a horror draw as a result facing a resurgent 'Jackpot' Adrian Lewis.
Among the other headline ties include Jonny Clayton facing the in-form debutant and Austrian ace in Rowby-John Rodriguez who has only just qualified.
Dirk van Duijvenbode who is 14th seed and won a title during the latest round of Players Championship received a tough draw in Ryan Searle. The man of the moment, Luke Humphries takes oN Nathan Aspinall.
While debutant Martin Lukeman will get a tie with former champion, James Wade to open his account. Another top draw sees one of the top seeds in Joe Cullen face the number one from the ProTour side in World Cup champion, Damon Heta.
Michael Smith is third seed and he will face Andrew Gilding who has returned to form and will return to Blackpool to cause 'Bully Boy' some problems. Former champions, Gary Anderson and Rob Cross will face Daryl Gurney and Chris Dobey in addition.
