Draw for Quarter-Finals at UK Open confirmed: Van Gerwen faces Aspinall in clash between former champions

After Dave Chisnall, Martijn Kleermaker and Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen faced another tough draw at the UK Open. In the draw on Saturday evening, he was drawn to former UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall.
With that draw, Van Gerwen gets the toughest possible opponent on paper. Dimitri van den Bergh faced Richie Burnett. The Prince of Wales stunned Peter Wright on Saturday night.
Andrew Gilding meets Martin Schindler, while Rob Cross takes on Adam Gawlas in the remaining quarter-final. The quarter-finals will be played on Sunday afternoon. The semi-finals and final are on Sunday evening.
