Draw released for Day One at PDC Super Series 3

The draw has been released for the opening day of action at PDC Super Series 3 with £75,000 in prize money up for grabs today in Niedernhausen.

While over 25 Tour Card holders including Gerwyn Price, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright have decided against making the trip, the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Dimitri van den Bergh, Nathan Aspinall and Jose de Sousa have all made the trip to Germany.

Some of the top ties include a tough opening assignment for the Premier League leader Van den Bergh as he faces Chris Dobey.

While Dave Chisnall will face Danny Baggish, Dirk van Duijvenbode will take on returning former World Champion, Christian Kist. Also potential World Cup teammates once more this year reunite as Mensur Suljovic plays Zoran Lerchbacher.

Robert Thornton like Kist is making up the numbers and will make his return to the tour against Keane Barry.

In terms of further ties for the leading lights, Van Gerwen starts against Josh Payne, while Van Barneveld faces Ryan Meikle.
