Draw released for Players Championship 22: Anderson-Gurney, Wright-Pallett and Humphries-Durrant set for first round

The draw has been confirmed ahead of Players Championship 22 which is the first of the latest double header of ProTour action taking place today in Barnsley, plays begins at 12pm BST with £12,000 to the winner.

Nine players in total haven't entered today's Players Championship tournament with Adrian Lewis and Callan Rydz the only players from the original entry list not involved. The others include Damon Heta, Jonny Clayton and Michael van Gerwen.

As a result, Luke Humphries, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith are among those to lead today's tournament.

Intriguing first round ties includes Humphries facing Glen Durrant, Wright will face recent Challenge Tour winner David Pallett, Gary Anderson in his first match since the World Matchplay faces Daryl Gurney who he lost to in Blackpool. While Rob Cross faces Richie Burnett.
