Draw released for Players Championship 28: Van Gerwen set for return to ProTour action against Petersen

Big news is that Michael van Gerwen, the World Number One will be taking part today and he will start his day against Devon Petersen. 'Mighty Mike' was entered for this tournament only but hasn't been seen on the ProTour this year that often so there was doubts whether or not he would play.

He is though and will hope to get some good match practice in before he attempts to become the first player in 10 years to defend his World Grand Prix crown.

Of the other top ties of the round, they include Gary Anderson in another tough tie against Vincent van der Voort. As well as Dave Chisnall against Cody Harris and an inter management battle between Jamie Hughes and Harry Ward - both winners on the tour this year.
