Draw released for Players Championship 29: Van Gerwen, Suljovic and Anderson among late withdrawals in Barnsley

Big news already is that there have been a slew of big names withdrawing from proceedings. Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Nathan Aspinall and Mensur Suljovic are the players in question. Rob Cross and James Wade are also missing Players Championship 29, but both had not entered this event.

This means that Ian White will once again be number one seed and he starts proceedings against Andrew Gilding. Gerwyn Price and Krzysztof Ratajski will be the second and third seed as a result with the likes of Michael Smith and Daryl Gurney also among the big names involved.

With it being a depleted field, will we once again see a new winner or will the likes of Ratajski, Price and De Sousa continue their dominance?
