DRAW World Cup of Darts 2025 Group Stage: England, Wales straight through; Netherlands, Belgium, Australia find out fate

The draw has been completed for the 2025 World Cup of Darts (June 12-15) Group Stage. Netherlands, Belgium and Australia kick start their campaign in the groups while England, Wales and Scotland go straight through.
The top four ranked nations based on Order of Merit ranking are seeded and enter into the second round. Luke Humphries and Luke Littler as the top two in the world enter as top seeds.
Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton (Wales), Gary Anderson and Peter Wright (Scotland) and Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney (Northern Ireland) don't play the group stage. The remaining 36 nations have been split into 12 groups of three.
This includes 12 seeded nations. The group winner from each will progress. Danny Noppert teams up with Gian van Veen with the latter in as a result of Michael van Gerwen's withdrawal for Netherlands. They face Italy and Hungary.
Mike de Decker makes his long awaited debut. He teams with the returning Dimitri van den Bergh to face Latvia and Philippines. Martin Schindler also has a new face in tow as he teams with Ricardo Pietreczko for Germany to lead Group C which includes Portugal and Singapore.
Republic of Ireland meet Gibraltar and China in Group D, while Poland face Norway and South Africa in Group E.
Canada will take Centre Stage in Group F which features Jim Long and Matt Campbell. They face Malaysia and Denmark. Sweden and France are joined by Lithuania in Group G.
The tough group i Group H as Austria's Mensur Suljovic and Rusty-Jake Rodriguez as reigning finalists albeit without Rowby-John face Australia's Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock. USA, Hong Kong and Bahrain are in Group I. While Group J consists of Czech Republic, Chinese Taipei and India. Croatia are the headline act in Group K.
Japan and Switzerland await Krcmar and Ljubic. While Finland, New Zealand and Argentina making their debut complete Group L. As ever with round robin, the losers face the third team in each group before the deciding group games.
The draw for the Last 16 then begins with the big teams coming into the foray.

- Sophie v Paige warranted a final and deserved a longer format, despite the completely shambolic start to the match regarding the scoring which I think unnerved both players, it was an excellent game. - Oh fudge off. Who the hell decided Mardull was preferred choice. Just look as its idiotic face. What a talentless waste of space What a travesty when you compare what ITV had. He comes across as a jokey person but it's a class A piece of sheet, miserable as hell and completely full of himself. I don't know anyone who can say anything positive about this goof. - Absolutely disgraceful, really I've said many times that ITV coverage is superior to SKY and SKY know that. Jacqui was absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Emma from SKY is more interested in what to wear than learning about darts. Chris Mason is absolutely the best and greatest commentator on TV, even better than Alex Jacques on F1 and Alex is absolutely brilliant. It is criminal that Chris and Alan will probably never be on TV again, what an amazing waste of talent. Poor Ned, who is just as excellent and knowledgeable on darts as the Tour de France has lost both gigs this year. The whole ITV team from presentation, commentary, production the whole team will definitely be missed and I have enjoyed every minute of their coverage. Thank you so much. John Part is the ONLY decent and knowledgeable person on SKY. I liked Glenn Durrant the player but he is awkward and dreadful on commentary all the rest are utterly useless.richieburnettrocks24-11-2025
- Gurney is off form and will completely crack and have a meltdown as the crowd will be relentless, although I think Beau will beat him anyway. I also think Fallon will beat the Helium voiced Chisnall. Poor Gemma has a toughie Peter Wright is also completely off the boil but will probably squeeze past Lisa.
