Durrant withdraws from final day at PDC Super Series 4: “I’m battling my own confidence demons right now”

Glen Durrant is the latest player not to be involved on the final day of action on PDC Super Series 4.

But unlike others, it is not due to Covid, it is due to confidence issues that the former Premier League champion is going through.

The three time Lakeside champion has had a tumultuous time over the past 12 months and was set to fall out of the seedings on Day Four but he won’t be involved saying the following on social media.

“With regret I’ve pulled out of the Pro Tour tomorrow,” said Durrant.

“I’m battling my own confidence demons right now and after 30 years in Housing I’ve never shirked a challenge, but tomorrow I’m throwing in a sickie

“I’ve apologised to PDC and sponsors but I’m thinking of me right now.”
