McGeeney withdraws from rest of PDC Super Series 4 after being contacted to isolate by NHS Track and Trace

Mark McGeeney was a notable absentee this morning when the draw was released for Day Three of PDC Super Series 4 but it has now been revealed why 'The Gladiator' wasn't involved.

McGeeney was contacted to isolate by NHS Track and Trace to isolate for five days due to seemingly being a close contact of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

He joined Nathan Aspinall and Keane Barry who had to leave on Day Two after the former tested positive for Covid-19, as well as Kirk Shepherd who was also absent this morning with the reason for this currently unknown.

This meant that Robert Thornton, Lee Evans and Adam Mould were all called up to play over the next two days in Milton Keynes.
