The afternoon session is complete on the opening day of action at the
International Darts Open in Riesa with
Ritchie Edhouse,
Keane Barry and
Luke Woodhouse moving through to the second round.
For Woodhouse and Barry, they both came through resounding victories over Andy Boulton and Ron Meulenkamp respectively.
The former averaged 95.4 in a 6-2 win over Boulton with 42.9% on the doubles compared to 28.6% from his opponent with Peter Wright next up for the Bewdley ace.
While Barry set up a clash with Michael van Gerwen in a similarly resounding display seeing off Meulenkamp 6-2 with a 95.8 average and 55% on the doubles.
Ryan Searle was potentially set to face Gerwyn Price on Saturday but instead it will be Edhouse who came through a scrappy affair in a 6-4 win.
This featured four 180's, a 157 checkout and 42.9% for 'Madhouse' who held the edge against 'Heavy Metal' and heads into the second day in Riesa.
