Entires Players Championship 3 & 4: Luke Littler skips Wigan Pro Tours, with Van Gerwen & Anderson also absent

The PDC has announced which 128 players will compete in Players Championship 3 & 4 on February 16 and 17. Virtually all Tour Card holders have entered these floor tournaments, with only three PDC Tour Card holders absent in Wigan.

Those absences are significant. Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Littler have all opted not to enter, with Joe Hunt, Martijn Dragt and Jack Tweddell called up from the Challenge Tour to complete the field.

Despite those headline absentees, the entry list still contains a strong group of world-class names. World number one Luke Humphries is set to make his first Players Championship appearances of the season, having previously suggested he might skip floor events during 2026 before later reversing that stance. He is joined by fellow major winners and Premier League regulars, including Gerwyn Price, James Wade, Rob Cross and Peter Wright.

A broader group of established contenders also features prominently, with Jonny Clayton, Stephen Bunting, Chris Dobey, Josh Rock, Ryan Searle, Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri Van den Bergh all entered, underlining the depth of the field across both days in Wigan.

The Players Championship circuit consists of 34 events across the season. Each tournament offers a total prize fund of £150,000, with £15,000 awarded to the winner. At the end of the campaign, the top 64 players on the Players Championship Order of Merit will qualify for the Players Championship Finals in November.
