The action is at the business end in Sindelfingen at the
European Darts Grand Prix with a winner set to be crowned in the latest
European Tour.
Defending champion Ian White is still involved. 'Diamond' hadn't won a game on the European Tour before this weekend which will have massively dented his European Championship hopes as one of the leading lights on the European Tour.
But his latest victory came against Michael Smith in the afternoon session as the Stoke ace saw off his below par practice partner.
His next opponent Maik Kuivenhoven produced another shock win to add to a previous win against Daryl Gurney by seeing off Premier League champion Glen Durrant.
The Dutchman has been in great form so far this weekend and will have desires to claim a European Championship spot himself.
Then it will be two unseeded players in Darius Labanauskas and Jose de Sousa facing off. Both players took out seeded players in Joe Cullen and Gerwyn Price this afternoon with both having the chance for a good run.
Then it is the turn of Mensur Suljovic who came from 5-0 down to see off Jamie Hughes and he will take on Rob Cross who impressed hitting a 101 average against Martijn Kleermaker.
Finally, it will be Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall who are set to face off once more after the latter saw off James Wade and Mighty Mike came through a scare against Vincent van der Voort - with the latter missing 23 darts at doubles including one match dart.
