- It is not that bad a hair style, Littler has terrible hair but Rydz has some kind of bird nest gaffer taped to his head, absolutely dreadful.
- I have known Gemma for many years and can't believe she has never played at the World Championship, very talented and showed lots of potential.
Her girlfriend Stephanie Smee made the World Championship semi final but just seemed to disappear and she was excellent that year, very unlucky to have been beaten by Anastasia. Hope Gemma will make it this year.

- It was great to watch Beau play so well against the world number 1. She has a very calm, poised way of playing, and might have won that game had she not tired in the last stretch.
- Chris Dobey comes across as a gentle and modest fellow. I hope he's able to win a major event this year.
- Thornton beating Taylor just beats out Gilding beating MVG for me.
Taylor was at his peak and played well in the final, Thornton on the day was simply the better player, no luck just outplayed Taylor.
