Evans claims five straight legs to see off Adams, McKinstry survives match dart in edging past Sherrock

The action is at it's halfway point on the opening night of Week Three of MODUS A Night At The Darts with David Evans continuing to impress.

Evans started his campaign against Martin Adams and recovered from 2-0 down to hit five straight legs to see off 'Wolfie' in a 5-2 victory in which he recorded a 101 average and three ton-plus finishes.

He followed that up by seeing off Kyle McKinstry, who is debuting this week by the same scoreline and a higher average by a small margin.

He hit two 180's and 50 percent on the doubles as the latter held the edge with McKinstry only hitting 2/12.

Fallon Sherrock claimed two wins on Saturday night in a pre-cursor to her permanent debut this week but she is winless so far albeit unlucky to be so.

She started off against Kyle McKinstry and was 3-1 up but the Village Man came back to force a decider. In this decider, Sherrock missed double 12 for a 141 to claim it and McKinstry took the points.

Then she faced off against Michael Warburton who started his debut campaign with a 5-0 defeat to Martin Adams, he claimed a 5-1 win hitting 5/14 on the doubles compared to only 1/7 from Sherrock.

A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
