Evans edges past in-form Rock, Host Nation Hero Sedlák continues Worsley's miserable European Tour run

The opening session of action at the 2022 Czech Darts Open is complete with Ricky Evans and Vítězslav Sedlák finding their way into Day Two in Prague.

Evans was facing Josh Rock in one of the games of the session between two in-form players with the Northern Irishman reaching the latter stages in Leverkusen.

But it was 'Rapid' who sealed the deal this time seeing off Rock with a 95 average, three 180's and 60% on the doubles. Next up will be Krzysztof Ratajski.

While for home hero Sedlák, he continued Jon Worsley's barren spell on the European Tour with a stunning victory which delighted those in attendance.

The winner faced Michael van Gerwen and the prospect of Worsley facing Van Gerwen with no love lost between the pair after the so called 'Ratgate' wasn't to be.

Instead MVG will face not only Sedlák but the Prague crowd tomorrow after the unknown talent sealed a 6-4 victory coming from 3-2 down to claim it with a 70 checkout in the decider.
