John O'Shea opened up with 104.73 against John Scott before defeat to Liam Meek in the Last 64 while over in
European Q-School, it was
Adam Gawlas (104.06) and Richard Veenstra (103.66) who hit the mark in reaching the latter stages.
While
Raymond van Barneveld hit two of the 12 in 101.32 and 101.21 but the latter saw him lose out to Martin Schindler as he couldn't claim a Tour Card on the opening day with Geert de Vos, the victor.
