Final standings PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit: Wesley Plaisier and Connor Scutt emerge as main winners

The 2024 PDC Challenge Tour season is over. Connor Scutt proved to be the most successful player at the second level at the PDC this season. Throughout the 24 tournaments, he earned £11,325 in prize money.
In an exciting final weekend, he held off Wesley Plaisier from first place. For Plaisier, the counter eventually stopped at 10,650 pounds. Scutt may compete in the Grand Slam of Darts in November because of his first place finish.
In addition, the Englishman will also receive a PDC Tour Card for 2025 and 2026. Plaisier also got his Tour Card in, as this prize is also up for the runner-up.
Normally a also World Championship spot is attached to the numbers one and two, but Scutt and Plaisier have already qualified for the tournament at Alexandra Palace. Therefore, the starting spots for the World Cup of Darts have been passed on to Christian Kist and Alexander Merkx, the numbers three and four.

- Not a Dobey fan at all but it’s bizarre that the winner of 3 Players Championship rounds does not qualify ahead of any runner up. The GSOD seems to be going the same way as footballs Champions League with a lot of non winners. The old football European Cup was a tournament of winners. GSOD should be for winners only and by tournament prestige and if it’s ranked.
