First ever Drive-In Darts exhibition featuring Van Gerwen and Van Barneveld set to take place in June

The first ever Drive-In Darts exhibition is set to take place at the end of June featuring Michael Van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld among others.

At the moment, darts events with a crowd are non-existent due to the Coronavirus pandemic but fans will now be able to have that feeling again albeit from the comfort of their car.

Taking place at Schützenplatz in Hannover, Germany on June 24, it will feature the aforementioned Dutch legends; as well as German Number One, Max Hopp and fans favourite, ‘The African Warrior’ Devon Petersen.

It will cost those wanting to attend 60 euros with two people per car + a maximum of two related kids.

With also a VIP ticket available, which allows fans to have a picture with the players; albeit with the stars around the car and even have one of them wash your car.

As a result of an event such as this and drive in gigs becoming popular, will this become the new normal for darts exhibitions for the time being?
