On Friday, sad news reached us from the world of darts. Former World Masters finalist Tony Brown has died at the age of 77.
Brown reached the 1978 World Masters final, which he lost 2-1 to his compatriot Ronnie Davis.
He also reached the semi-finals four times at the
BDO World Championship, for the last time in 1983, when he went down 5-1 against Eric Bristow in the semi-finals. He was also the first man ever to throw a 170-finish at the World Championship.
