The two Host Nation Qualifiers in Hildesheim this weekend produced four different German winners, each securing qualification for events on the
European Tour.
Fabian Herz and Liam Maendl-Lawrence secured a starting spot for the European Darts Matchplay (30 June - 2 July). Maendl-Lawrence won 5-4 against Marco Obst in the final round, while Herz was 5-4 too strong for Christopher Toonders.
Next, Nico Kurz and Danny Tessmann secured a starting spot for the German Darts Open (September 8-10). Kurz dealt with Fabian Herz (5-3) in the final round, Tessmann put Lukas Wenig aside 5-1.
