Gary Anderson won the European Darts Grand Prix last weekend. The 54-year-old Scot defeated Englishman Andrew Gilding 8-0 in the final in Sindelfingen. This is the second year in a row for Anderson to win the European Darts Grand Prix.
Anderson is the fifth player to win at least three UK Open Qualifiers, three Players Championships and three Euro Tours in his career. Although it must be said that there are currently no more UK Open Qualifiers organized for Tour Card holders.
This list is headed by Michael van Gerwen with 16 UK Open Qualifiers, 36 Players Championships and 38 Euro Tours. In second place we have Phil Taylor with 21 UK Open Qualifiers, 45 Players Championships and 4 Euro Tours. The top three is completed by Peter Wright with 3 UK Open Qualifiers, 22 Players Championships and 9 Euro Tours.
Finally, in fourth place we find Michael Smith with 3 UK Open Qualifiers, 11 Players Championships and 6 Euro Tours.
The
European Tour 2025 continues on the weekend of May 23, 24 and 25 with the Dutch Darts Championship. The next round of the Players Championship is scheduled for Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13.
