Gary Anderson and
Gerwyn Price will not be in action this weekend at the
Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel. The PDC reports that the two former world champions have withdrawn from this Euro Tour tournament.
Due to the withdrawal of these players, Krzysztof Ratajski and Joe Cullen have gained seeded status, and will enter from the second round. The two vacant spots will be filled by Luke Woodhouse and Jermaine Wattimena, the two highest-ranked players on the reserve list.
The Baltic Sea Darts Open is one of the newest tournaments on the Euro Tour. The event in Kiel was only on the calendar for the first time in 2023. The final victory then went to Dave Chisnall, who was too strong for Luke Humphries in the final 8-5.
