Gerwyn Price managed to produce a nine-darter during Night 10 of Premier League Darts play in Manchester last Thursday night. It was a historic perfect leg for several reasons.
It was the first nine-darter ever in Manchester, as well as the 15th in Premier League Darts history. In addition, it was Price's fifth perfect leg at a television tournament.
Three of those were thrown in the Premier League Darts. As a result, "The Iceman" became only the second darter ever to throw three nine-darters in the prestigious competition. Only Phil Taylor managed this feat in the past.
Raymond van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis managed to throw a nine-darter twice in Premier League darts in the past. Simon Whitlock, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton and Jose de Sousa stand on one perfect leg.
