Gerwyn Price's UK Open hopes ended by Martin Schindler; Luke Humphries edges past Dirk Van Duijvenbode

In the final set of matches of an evening of dart action, Gerwyn Price has been stunned by Martin Schindler at the UK Open. Meanwhile Luke Humphries was victorious on the main stage against Dirk van Duijvenbode.

Price and Schindler played a remarkable match, with the German eventually coming out on top thanks to six missed match darts by 'The Iceman'. Luke Littler continued his remarkable year with a handsome 10-7 victory over James Wade.

For Humphries, rhe Englishman won his match with a score of 10-7, sending Dirk Van Duijvenbode out in the process.

Elsewhere, Vincent Van der Voort earned a 10-5 victory against Croatian Boris Krcmar. Although the averages were not exceptionally high, it means a welcome boost for the Dutchman at his first TV tournament in some time.

In other matches, brand new Masters winner Stephen Bunting, Gary Anderson, Martin Lukeman, Krzysztof Ratajski and Dimitri Van den Bergh also managed to qualify for the last 32 after victories in their respective matches.
