Girvan dumps out defending champion Brooks at PDC World Youth Championship

Bradley Brooks will not win the PDC World Youth Championship a second time in a row. The defending champion was eliminated at the last 32 by Nathan Girvan.

With an average of well over 105, Girvan took a 4-1 lead. A moderate leg with a 27-darter made it 5-1, before the Scot finished the job.

The likes of Callan Rydz, Danny Jansen, Keane Barry, Geert Nentjes, Josh Rock and Sebastian Bialecki have also progressed to the last sixteen in Wigan.
