Glen Durrant has been added to the team of commentators on Sky Sports for the World Darts Championship. 'Duzza' recently made his appearance as a commentator at the Grand Slam of Darts and was generally well-received.
Broadcaster Sky Sports often uses former top darters for their analysis and commentary during broadcasts around darts tournaments. Five-time World Championship semifinalist Wayne Mardle, former Lakeside champion Mark Webster and three-time world champion John Part are also part of the regular commentary team.
Durrant was himself a three-time competitor at the PDC's World Darts Championship, having won Lakeside three consecutive times from 2017 to 2019. At the PDC, a quarter-final place at the 2020 edition was his best World Championship result.

I always found Glen really awkward and cringe worthy when interviewed as a player. But on the Modus Super Series he is excellent, very knowledgeable, has many interesting stories and can read a match brilliantly. Very calm style like Tony Green. A real shame he is not playing. I think Corrine Hammond is excellent too, so hope she'll be part of the team. I would love to see Chris Mason on SKY he is the very very best.
