Glut of ton topping averages as Dave Chisnall, Michael Smith and Stephen Bunting among leading lights at Players Championship 9

The board finals are complete at Players Championship 9 and the Last 16 is here with a glut of ton topping averages in Hildesheim as we head into the latter stages as well as a lot of surprise names through.

Dave Chisnall leads the way. He thumped in a 107 average to thrash Martin Lukeman 6-1. He will now face Ryan Joyce. Chris Dobey too hit 100 to thrash Adam Gawlas 6-0. Other impressive displays included Michael Smith edging past Jonny Clayton 6-4 with a 106 average, Patrick Geeraets and Luke Woodhouse hit 102 averages and Stephen Bunting hit a 100 average in seeing off Stpehen Burton. Damon Heta, Raymond van Barneveld and Gary Anderson all headed out though as we reach the latter stages.
