Anchored by the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Danny Noppert, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Dimitri van den Bergh and others, there will be 31 players from Continental Europe playing at this year's PDC World Darts Championship.
This in turn is a new record with the number slowly increasing and decreasing at times each year. Last year saw 28 which was the new record and this has increased by three again.
This as per darts statistician Philipp Wolff with this number also compared to 2013 where there was only 14 involved albeit in a lesser field compared to now with a top 96.
A number likely to improve similar to the new record for Welsh players in the coming years.
