With rising temperatures not only in the UK but also over in Germany, Daryl Gurney travelled wearing shorts ahead of competing not only in this week’s Players Championship double header but also the World Cup of Darts.
With the PDC dress code relaxed but not so that players can wear shorts, Gurney didn’t realise that he forgot to pack trousers and had to receive help from fellow pro, Martin Lukeman who lent Superchin a spare pair.
“It’s [hot face emoji] here in Germany and I’ve forgot my trousers. Luckily Martin Lukeman lent me some,” said Gurney.
