Draw released for Players Championship 17 including Clayton-Hempel, Burnett-Van Barneveld and Humphries-Campbell

The final day of Players Championship action this week from Germany will take place on Wednesday afternoon with the draw now confirmed ahead of play starting at 11am BST.

Michael Smith has sealed the last three Players Championship titles in a row and will aim to continue that winning streak. His first match sees him face Nathan Girvan. While Jonny Clayton after only entering in today's action ahead of the World Cup of Darts will get some match practice in and return to the ProTour facing Florian Hempel first up.

Luke Humphries is top seed and will open up against Matt Campbell. Also involved today include James Wade who will face George Killington after withdrawing yesterday, while Peter Wright faces Bradley Brooks and Richie Burnett and Raymond van Barneveld face off again in another throwback clash.

Michael van Gerwen is absent this week due to surgery on his arm, while Gerwyn Price, Joe Cullen and Gary Anderson are also among those absent albeit 'The Iceman' will play at the World Cup of Darts so will be en route to Germany.
